Whether you’re just starting out or looking to take your riding to the next level, I’ve got something for you!

I offer flatwork and jump lessons, horsemanship and groundwork, and confidence-building and trail sessions — all designed to help riders and horses develop together.

As an Eventing rider, I’ve trained with a range of top eventers, dressage trainers, and leading horsemanship educators, and I draw on all of these influences to create a balanced, thoughtful approach to teaching. My coaching blends technical skill, clear communication, and an understanding of how horses think and learn.

My lessons are supportive, practical, and tailored to each rider, with a focus on enjoyment, progress, and partnership.

Equestrian Facilities at Te Rangi

  • Arena

    We have a 25 x 42m arena with EQ3 sand and shell mixed surface suitable for a range of flatwork, pole and jumping lessons and coaching sessions.

  • Round pen

    We have a 20m diameter round pen with a sand surface suitable for horsemanship coaching, liberty and tricks lessons as well as general lunging.

  • Hillwork & Trails

    Te Rangi farm is 160 acres of rolling farm countryside set in Hunua. The farm boasts a number of trails that cater to a variety of riding abilities along with hill fitness tracks suitable for conditioning and fitness training.
