Combo Lesson - Horsemanship & Riding
I am passionate about horsemanship and regularly ground school my compeititon horses along with working them at liberty and training tricks such as stepping onto a pedestal. What I have come to appreciate about training with horsemanship techniques is the benefit of connecting with the horse's mind and natural curiosity. Horsemanship lessons can cover groundwork and skills that will enable participants to improve their handling skills, solve problems such as loading onto a float or truck, and build safety and connection with their horse. Ground work can also be connected to ridden work for safer riding.
The Combo Lesson - Horsemanship & Riding allows a 1.5 hour session to cover a 45 minute groundwork lesson that is followed by a riding lesson all in one session.
This combined horsemanship & riding lesson can be a great option for those who are bringing on younger horses, it is also a great option for riders wanting to connect ground work to ridden work and for those who would like the option to travel once and gain a more significant and intensive session.
Lessons are offered on our arena or in the round pen depending on circumstances. If you would like me to travel to you - get in touch.
