Come along to our Spring Kickstarter Clinic - designed to help you build or refresh your horsemanship, riding skills, confidence and connection with your horse so you are ready for the upcoming season.

Learn techniques for safer riding, improved confidence and build competence both on the ground and under saddle with your horse.

The day is organized into 2 sessions following a personalized goal setting session :

Session 1 - This session focusses on groundwork skills-building for safety & connection. It is an opportunity to hone existing skills or learn groundwork skills for the first time. The foundation groundwork skills inform all relational work with your horse on the ground and also build connection and understanding of ridden elements for safety.

Session 2 - Introducing obstacles using groundwork to bring another element into groundwork skills building. This can be useful for building ground skills to support basic handling necessities such as loading on the float or truck, safety around gates and safe leading/handling techniques. This is followed by a ridden arena session focusing on safe riding principles and the option for riders to train their horses around the cowboy-challenge style obstacles under saddle.

Participants need to have basic handling skills and the ability to keep control of their horse in a group teaching situation. If you are unsure, or would like to be more prepared, we recommend a one on one horsemanship lesson prior to a clinic.

Maximum of 6 riders. As a qualified teacher I am excellent at ensuring fair and equal attention is provided to all participants during group teaching.
